August 20th 2012 Los Alamos Heyo!

Night of August 20th, 2012,
Boulder CO

Los Alamos, Heyo!

This is a long dream that takes place in Los Alamos, New Mexico. I have family there but during my dream I was living there myself. I decided to go on a hike so I walked around for a bit then returned.  Once I returned I felt like I should go on a hike in the other direction. I took off my shoes and left them inside and went out for a intended “short” hike.
I left the city which was actually only as tall as my knees in certain areas. I went through a mountain pass into another valley where I found a small town. The mountains were a dirt colored orange with small shrubbery, the valleys were both surrounded by tall mountains.

When I got to the new town I saw a very tall building that was on a small piece of land.  An old boss of mine from Austin Texas showed up and started talking to me. She said she was in town on a business trip. I told her I could help her move her bags from her hotel room to her taxi cab. She said that would be lovely so we climbed the spiral staircase to the tall building. She had a small room, I helped her put the remainder of her things into her suitcase.  She talked to me about how things were back at the office where we worked together.  As we went downstairs she said she could give me a ride home, I declined and told her I was going on a hike instead, then she offered she could take me to the trail head I was going to go into. I said that sounded alright, I had been walking for a while anyways.
Instead of a taxi she now had her car, we drove to the back of an elementary school to find the trail. What was strange about the elementary school was it was very, very long. We drove behind the school for a few minutes passing parking lots behind exit doors.
We pulled into a parking lot for a moment to help some school teachers, janitors and custodians move some things for the kids at the school.

Finally after that we found the trail head, she dropped me off there and told me to stay in touch with her. As I said goodbye to her and headed to the trail a man approached me.  He asked if I was Taylor. I instantly recognized him as a family friend I saw at the beach each year. I gave him a hug and told him I now lived in Los Alamos.  He said his daughter and wife were near and I should say hi to them. Before I did that I noticed that something was wrong with him. He had orange sunglases hanging down his nose, also a funny hat and one of his fingers was completely black-ish/grey-ish. I didn’t say anything to him about that.
The last time I saw his daughter she was 3/4 years old, now she was like 6 or 7. I was happy that she remembered me. I picked her up and carried her around. I see there down and then said hi to her mom. I had known her mom for many years, she seemed really surprised to see me and was a little confused.  I told her that I now lived in Los Alamos and if her and her family wanted to get together sometime that would be great.  I said goodbye to her and began to head down the trail.

I now had a friend with me walking down the trail. We came to a oak tree with many branched covering part of the trail, I was now also holding a small baby in my arms, about the size of a football. We both saw a witch appear on the side of us and she told us we should give her the baby. I thought that would be a bad idea as soon as I realized she was a witch.
I grabbed a piece of oak and stabbed her in the forehead with it like a stake. It went through her like she wasn’t really there. She said you couldn’t hurt a witch like that. So I jogged away from her and walked some more down the trail.

Now the trail came to a cement building with an iron door. There were broken windows on both sides of the door. I went to open the door and saw there was only darkness inside it. I went inside and found myself in a room decorated with many carpets and old furniture, there was a fireplace and a warm feeling to it, warm but also spooky. I came across a few friends of mine and we walked around together. This new house we were in was haunted and you had to complete certain tasks before going to the next room. Kind of like the Legend of Zelda games.
We went into another room that looked like a kitchen, all of the doors were now locked including the one we came in from. Suddenly we heard alarms go off, like oven timers for kitchens. We heard them from all over the place. I got an idea that it would be funny if I would set a timer to go off and beep. I pushed the buttons on the over next to me so it had four seconds to go off, as soon at the timer rang I shouted “HeyO!” and threw my finger in the air. Then I woke up to hear my alarm ringing.

The end. Thanks for reading that long dream, the link to the video version of this blog is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lGfZ45N3Jas&feature=youtu.be

Thanks for reading, have a nice day.
