Night of September 2nd 2012,
National Anthem:
In this dream I had left my old house in Austin Texas and was headed to the lake. I decided to take the back roads to the lake. I knew there was a ceremony taking place there and needed to be there early to help out. I got to a field in front of the lake (a place I used to play by as a kid) and saw some people setting up fold out chairs facing away from the water. I went over to a lady in charge, she was in her 30's and told me how I could help. She reminded me I was singing the National Anthem to open up the event.
I seemed okay with this but was still a little nervous. I remembered I wanted to help me Dad get here becuase traffic would be difficult. I walked away down a trail that had cornstalks on it's sides. A man was jogging next to me when a trail maintenence worker shut off part of the trail my Dad was going to use to get to the ceremony. I was bumbed out so I called my Dad, he showed up just then and said he knew another way and I thought it would take long for him to get here but I accepted it.
I went back to the ceremony and some people had started arriving, everyone was sitting in some chairs. I talked to some people and then sat down in the front row. The lady leading the event told me I would sing my part in five minutes in front of everyone. Now I remember signing up to sing for this event a year ago. I also remembered I don't sing! I was getting a bit nervous and was trying to think of the words to America's National Anthem. I kept getting confused and didn't want to offend anyone by singing it wrong. I overheard someone across the lake singing it and realized I had no idea how I was going to sing this.
Right before I woke up I was trying to think about how low I should sing, because I can't hit the higher notes at all. Luckily I woke up. That was the last dream I had that night, I woke up and got my stuff done.
So far it has been a good day, I found some Kenwood speakers at a second-hand-goods store taht were half off today for 20$ and they work perfectly.
